| The TQCM mounting-bracket allows for highly flexible positioning
and orientation of the TQCM. The highly-polished 6061 T6 Aluminum
mounting-bracket tightens onto the heatpipe with silver-plated
(non-galling) screws. The clamp pieces compress a reusable high-
purity, soft-copper pad for high thermal contact. Five mounting
options are shown. |

Fan-cooling is one means of maintaining constant temperature
at the TQCM heatsink. During normal operation with most TQCMs,
however, the fan is not needed. A water-cooling jacket (fully
exterior to vacuum) is also built-in, to allow for very tight
temperature control, and to allow operation of vacuum devices
over ~20 Watts. |
